Shaving can be a chore or something that you look forward to every morning. In my experiences, the transition occurs when you invest in some tools that make the whole process a lot more pleasant. One of the best “bang for your buck” investments you can make is the Semogue 1305 shaving brush.
In the past 10 years, I’ve used a variety of different brushes from makers such as Simpsons, Shavemac, and Plisson. About 4-5 years ago I bought a much more affordable Semogue just to see what all of fuss was about. After using it regularly for a few months, I ended up selling every other brush I had.
